On Tuesday, March 2, 2021, Governor Abbott issued a new Executive Order eliminating COVID-19 related operating limits for any business or other establishment to allow them to operate at 100% capacity and terminated the state-mandated face covering requirement. This order is effective at 12:01 am on Wednesday, March 10, 2021.
Please note while the order terminates the requirement for face coverings, it does still strongly encourage individuals to wear face coverings over the nose and mouth whenever it is not feasible to maintain six feet of social distancing from another person not in the same household. The City of Denison will continue to follow guidelines with regard to sanitizing measures and social distancing while conducting City business. We ask that everyone attending our City sponsored events please be courteous and respectful of one another and practice safe habits.
