This year we take History in the Hall on the Road! In this entertaining series we will learn about the history of Doc Holliday and Denison as a whole leading up to the Doc Holliday Saints & Sinners Festival on April 27th! We will be exploring topics of “Denison’s Origins and Wild West Beginnings” with Kurt Cichowski, “Entertainment in Early Denison” with Brian Hander, “Denison Railroad History” with Sam Oswald and “Ghosts of Denison’s Past” with Natalie Clountz Bauman. The History in the Hall Roadshow will kick off at The Horse’s Axe on January 18th at 6PM. Topics that will be discussed will include Denison’s Origins, Doc Holliday’s appearance, Bass Reeves and finally Historical Markers.
