Natalie Bauman Book Signing

July 27 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

About the author: Just a few years ago, Natalie was laid off from a job of 11 years due to failing health. She was a middle-aged lady with multiple autoimmune diseases that are chronically painful, don’t have cures, progressively get worse, and are disabling. Some might just quit. The doctor “prescribed” she needed a mental hobby to keep from becoming depressed and deteriorating physically because of inactivity.
She got busy doing something she loves – writing about local history and especially about God and His Word. HER story is, never give up, don’t get discouraged, whatever your challenges. If you trust God, He will help you. If you keep swinging, you at least have a chance to hit the ball out of the park!
Natalie is a graduate of the Brown Trail Church of Christ preacher’s wives School of Preaching in 1992 and has an accounting degree from Grayson College. She has taught Bible classes to children and adult women all her adult life, from her local congregation to area-wide seminars.
She has so far written over twenty-eight Grayson County history books and true ghost story books including “The History of Building the Denison Dam;” many Pottsboro history books, ” “Texoma’s Red River;” “Quantrill’s Raiders in North Texas;” multiple volumes of “When the West Was Wild;” and more.
Natalie does historical speeches for groups, living history demonstrations and has been a historical columnist for the Pottsboro Sun newspaper.
